Manatee Watching –
Discover tranquil Placencia Lagoon in search of the docile,
shy manatee, known locally as a sea cow - creatures that were
once mistaken by sailors for mermaids. While in the lagoon,

Jaguar Preserve - The Cockscomb
Basin Wildlife Reserve, locally known as the Jaguar Reserve
is nestled in the Maya mountains. Walk the trails and take in
the nature that surrounds you - orchids, tree ferns, air plants
and vines, huge trees that create a sheltering canopy that several
different species of birds and other wildlife make their home.
This jungle tour being offered by Ocean Motion includes a guided
trail hike of the cockscomb Sanctuary, lunch and an afternoon
tube float down the South Stann Creek River. Ocean Motion makes

Monkey River –Just

Mayan Ruins - The archeological
sites of Lubaantun and Nim Li Punit lie to the south in the
beautiful Toledo District and are easily accessible by road
from Placencia. The largest Mayan site in the south, Lubaantun
sits high on a ridge above a valley cut by the Columbia River.
Nim Li Punit was the spiritual center of the ancient Mayan city-states
situated in the south and is home to 25 stelae, 8 of them carved.
This trip includes entrance fee, lunch, and an afternoon tour
of Blue Creek Cave, Swim and hike to a waterfall inside the
cave. Ocean Motion will help you discover the mysteries of the

The Belize Zoo & Blue Hole National
Park - One sure way to see the animals of Belize is
a trip to the Belize Zoo. Only animals that can be found in
Belize can call Belize's Zoo their home which makes the Zoo
unique. Stroll along trails that will take you to the elusive
jaguar - if you look closely you'll see them, the quirky Spider
Monkeys, and of course our National Animal the Tapir just to
name a few. On the way back stop off for a picnic lunch and
a cool refreshing dip at the Blue Hole National Park, nestled
along the scenic Hummingbird Highway. This trip is the perfect

defines our Responsibility with respect to all of our
trips.
Release Of Liability and Assumption of Risk:
You acknowledge that you are aware that during any
of Ocean Motion’s tours in which you will be participating,
certain risk and dangers may arise.
You are voluntarily participating in these activities
with knowledge of the dangers involved and hereby agree
to accept any risks.
You therefore release and discharged Ocean Motion Services
tours and its agent and employees from all claims, actions
and demands of any nature whatsoever that may have,
including claims for bodily injury, death, property
damage, or any incidental or consequential damages arising
from my participation in the Tour’s or expeditions.
